The 2025 election for the new board directors of EWB International is now complete. We are pleased to announce that our two new board members are Kristina Teppo of Engineers Without Borders Luxembourg and Enrique Guemez of Engineers Without Borders Mexico.

Congratulations to Kristina, Enrique, and to all the candidates who put themselves forward. The pool of candidates was again incredibly strong, and it was a close election right up to the deadline, so we’d also like to thank all those that took the time to vote – your votes really mattered! We had a record voting percentage of over 79% this year which is great to see.

As these new directors join the board on 1 January 2026, we will say goodbye to the following fantastic individuals who are stepping down. We would like to thank Sanjiv Indran of Engineers Without Borders Malaysia and Raymond Lopinski of Engineers Without Borders Hong Kong who have come to the end of their terms on the board. We appreciate the efforts of our past board members who got us to where we are and look forward to onboarding our new board members to take us through 2026 and beyond.

For Sanjiv, his term as President is also coming to an end, and he can be proud of the progress achieved during his leadership. We extend our special thanks to him as we welcome Kapil Dev Regmi as the next President in 2026, and Sanjiv will move into a supporting role as Past President. Onwards and upwards!
